Self Regen

Self Regen Injections are a next-generation bioregenerative treatment that helps to strengthen the skin’s structure, improve elasticity, and help improve volume loss. Using nothing but your own plasma, taken from a small sample of your blood, the treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production. The plasma’s growth factors are carefully processed and transformed into a smooth, gel-like substance, which is then precisely injected back into the skin to activate the body’s natural healing response.

The result is softer and more understated than traditional filler, while offering more structure than conventional PRP. The under-eye area is one of the most popular areas to treat, but Self Regen can also be used in other areas of the face where skin has lost firmness or volume. It’s an excellent alternative for those who may not be suitable for filler due to thinner skin, or for anyone who doesn’t like traditional filler. The results are subtle and undetectable.

Results will be seen gradually following treatment. Many patients notice visible benefits after just one session, though one to two treatments are often recommended for optimal results.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which are made from hyaluronic acid, Self Regen relies entirely on your body’s own biology.

About

About Self Regen

The process begins with a simple blood draw from your arm, much like a standard blood test. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from the other components. This plasma is gently heated and cooled to create a smooth, gel-like consistency. Once ready, it is injected with precision beneath the skin under the eyes, or other parts of the face, targeting areas of hollowness or fine lines. As the plasma settles, it begins to trigger a regenerative response.

FAQs

What kind of results can be achieved?
The results of Self Regen develop gradually as the body responds to the treatment. Because it works by supporting your skin’s renewal processes, the improvements look subtle and natural, refreshing your appearance without any obvious signs of intervention.
Who is this treatment suitable and not suitable for?
Unlike traditional dermal fillers where only certain people are good candidates, Self Regen injections are suitable for anyone who feels like they are experiencing fine lines and volume loss. Because the treatment uses only your own plasma, it can be an appealing option if you are cautious about introducing new substances into your skin. It is also suitable for those who want results that develop gradually, avoiding the instant but sometimes noticeable change that can come with traditional fillers. This treatment is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain blood disorders, or have any active skin infections in the treatment area.
What is the recovery/downtime?
Recovery is typically minimal. The area may appear slightly swollen or red immediately after treatment, and there can be some tenderness for a day or two. In some cases, mild bruising can occur at injection points, but this is temporary.
What are the side effects and risks?
Polynucleotides have an extremely high safety profile. There’s no risk of puffiness or vascular occlusion. Due to the polynucleotides being suspended in water, there is no risk of blood vessel blockages. The salmon DNA derived for this treatment is extremely pure, meaning you could still have this treatment if you had a fish allergy.

Polynucleotides do not promote abnormal cellular activity, nor do they promote an increased risk of skin cancer. They actually stabilise the melanocyte cells, the cells that cause pigment, making the treatment brilliant for pigmentation. The main potential side effect would relate to the injection point being slight redness, swelling or bruising which would all subside relatively quickly.
How painful is the treatment?
A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimise any discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as a brief pressure or a light pinch, making the treatment easy to tolerate. The pain would be considered mild to moderate.
Duration
Your appointment will be 1 hour.
